My Gear

About this page

Here is a list of all the things I use at work and on the go to make my life easier! I'm not going to get to much into the details of my network for security reasons.

At work

  1. My computer[1]
    • Apple MacBook Pro 16.2" with M3 Pro Chip (Late 2023) - Space Black, 12-Core / 18-Core, 18GB, 1TB SSD
    • As someone who isn't a big fan of the Apple walled garden, I will definitely admit that Mac's are the route to go for a enterprise, development workstation. It gives you most of the convenience of Linux, but you IT department stays relatively happy.
  2. Docking station[2]
    • DisplayLink Docking Station Dual Monitor
    • This dock gives you the ability to hook up to multiple screens in full 4k without loosing any of the other features
  3. Monitors[3]
    • LG 32UN500-W
    • These screens (at the time of purchase) are super affordable for the clarity you get
  4. Mouse[4]
    • Logitech MX Master 2S
    • I really like this mouse, but I know it isn't for everyone
  5. Keyboard[5]
    • Logitech ERGO K860
    • Typically, I prefer a mechanical keyboard, but my neighbors definitely don't, so here we are
  6. Office headphones[6]
    • SHOKZ OpenRun Pro
    • I swapped to the open ear headphones because I had to many people sneak up on me at work. This gives me a better sense of my surroundings

On the go

  1. Backpack[7]
    • TIMBUK2 x ASTRO Gaming BP35
    • This backpack is overkill, but I generally just love the overall quality of the backpack and the fact that everything has a place on this back
  2. Battery[8]
    • Anker Magnetic Battery, 10,000mAh
    • I was looking for a battery pack that gave me a huge amount of extra time without a charger, but didn't require me to have a cable on hand.
  3. Charger[9] - Anker 737 GaNPrime
    • The super portal brink it very convenient because I can have small brick that is capable of charging all my devices at the same. If you need more, check it older brother, Anker 747[11].
  4. Travel Headphones[10]
    • Sony WH-1000XM4
    • I believe these headphones speak for themselves, but if not I think the best way to describe them isn't just to say noise cancelling headphones, it should be "airplane cancelling headphones"
